Information Security Analyst - Remote anywhere in the US

What you’ll do with us: 

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Information Security Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in safeguarding our organization’s data and ensuring our systems are secure and resilient. Reporting to the IT Security Program Manager, you will play a critical role in assessing security measures, monitoring for breaches, and assisting to develop robust security policies. How we’ll keep you busy: 

  • Partner with management to assess and implement security measures to protect our information systems 
  • Assist to gather information for audits on a regular basis 
  • Monitor for security breaches and reporting incidents 
  • Assist to develop and implement security policies and procedures 
  • Assist to conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies 
  • Collaborate with the IT team to uncover and address network vulnerabilities 
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to convey technical requirements and risks 

Who you are: 

  • Previous experience in a similar role, or a recent degree in computer science, information technology, or cybersecurity with relevant coursework. 
  • A strong understanding of the NIST security framework, and experience with SOC and FISMA audits 
  • Experience with GRC tools like Tugboat and/or OneTrust 
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to think outside the box to problem solve 
  • Highly organized, with a strong attention to details  
  • Extremely effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate with all levels within the company 
  • If you plan to pursue certifications such as CISSP, CISM or CISA, this role will give you great work experience to gain those skills!

  • The ability to work from anywhere in the United States, this position is primarily remote, with travel required once per year. 
  • The compensation range for this role is $70,000-$75,000
